Hit-Boy – Jay-Z Interview (Produced by B!nk

After making everyone scratch their heads as he and his team hashtagged #JayZInterview all over the place for months, Hit-Boy finally revealed its meaning to Complex in April. Since then, anticipation for the "N****s In Paris" and "Cold" producer's debut single as a recording artist has continued to grow without much word of when it would see the light of day. Out of nowhere, Hit-Boy decided to release "Jay-Z Interview" earlier today in the form of a video that highlights some of the most profound moments he has experienced throughout his whirlwind of success over the past year. The visuals, directed by his own photographer and videographer Jelani Fr3sh, are garnering some comparisons around the 'net to Kanye West's "Through The Wire." What do you think? Are they valid? Does Hit-Boy have potential to be the "next Kanye West" like Kanye's confidant Ibn Jasper stated? Watch the video above, leave your thoughts below, and be on the lookout for much more from the multi-talented Hit-Boy.

The Business of Building Brands with Dre Hayes

Four silver-foiled pillars are what embellish the front of the business card of The Foundation co-founder,Dre Hayes. Spearheading his New York-based team of self-professed “Brand Architects,” alongside fellow co-founders Antwain, Ari and Daniel, The Foundation is one of the foremost brand development agencies today. Those within the industry have come to respect the labels that The Foundation represents because of the collective’s proven track record. Buyers and retailers have learned to place a substantial amount of trust in The Foundation, in faith that if the multifaceted agency throws its weight behind a brand or label, it will likely be a hit on the sales floor as well. A trust that Hayes does not take lightly.
Perhaps it is Hayes’ inherent intuition towards being a well-versed curator of fashion and lifestyle that has guided the direction of The Foundation so well. Or, on the other hand, it could be his over 10 years in the sales industry that have afforded the company with a business proclivity that can often be found lacking in creative circles. For whatever reason it may be, Dre and his team have developed an arguably unmatched reputation for perfecting the ability to find good product, present it in the right way, and bring it to the right people. Three things that, while they may seem quintessential, are facets that many brands and retailers are in a constant search for.

CANDY-COLORED KICKS

The Reebok Freestyle 30th anniversary shoes are a colorful throwback. These sneakers were created to commemorate the 30 years of the sports equipment company Reebok. This edition of women’s shoes takes inspiration from the 80s. From the sugary sweet colors of pink, blue and green to the rainbow laces, these kicks scream rad. These high sneakers are a bright twist on a classic cut.
These sneakers still have the regular features of all Reebok footwear. Each shoe has rubber soles, self-tie closure and features a mix between manmade and leather materials. The Reebok Freestyle is more than its exterior, as the foam liner interior allows for even cushioning of the foot.

These kicks will set you back approximately $US75

Comic Book-Themed Kicks... HOT OR NOT?

The Reebok x Marvel Sneakers are Full of Graphic Sole

While they may not endow you with superpowers, the Reebok x Marvel sneakers are the closest thing to practical, comic book-themed apparel. Unless you work in a daycare or costume shop, dressing up as a superhero may be not be an everyday possibility for you. The new Marvel-themed sneakers by Reebok offer an alternative, taking the color pattern from various comic book characters and incorporating it into a series of casual foot wear.
For those who are familiar with the Marvel universe, these shoes will be an instant conversation starter at the Comic-Con event expo. With a wide variety of characters to choose from, individuals can decide which Marvel personality they can relate to the most.
Like with collector’s cards, the hero behind the design is pictured on the bottom of the shoes, so when someone asks “who are you wearing?” simply show them your sole.

Tune-Emitting Shoes

The Adidas Megalizer Creates Cool Music as You Move

ADIDAS MEGALIZER

These new Adidas Megalizer sneakers prove that Nike is finally getting some hot competition on the both the campaign and shoe front. This high-tech shoe is unlike anything on the market right now. Perfect for the breakdancer and the musician, it actually makes sounds as you move.
A collaboration piece with French coder Didier Brun, the Adidas Megalizer sneaker has unique sensors in each shoe that, along with a wireless transmitter, captures the pressure applied to the sensors. The wearer then controls the sounds they make using an interface.
Worn by the French hip hop act Les Twins in a promotional video, the Adidas Megalizer sneaker seems to be a rebuttal to Nike’s online film that shows its Free Run+ shoes plugged in and becoming a part of a DJ kit.

But for now I’ve got a straight BANGER from UK boys Chase & Status (who brought you Let You Go) pairing up with the filthy Sub Focus and Takura. It’s called ‘Flashing Lights’ and starts off with a happy chill vibe, then at about 3 minutes through the song shit hits the fan and the bass goes insane. Like alot of the bigger UK dubstep producers this track has a really solid well made feel to it. Turn up the bass and enjoy!

Teasing Twosome Nudetography

I-D SPRING 2011 SPREAD

The i-D Spring 2011 editorial featured one of the fashion industry’s hottest duos: Jourdan Dunn and Karlie Kloss. In a sensual photoshoot, these two babes play the part of playful temptresses.

Photographed by Kayt Jones, the high-gloss shoot doubles the trouble with these beauties. Styled by Edward Enninful, Dunn and Kloss flirt with the camera by lounging nude together or holding each other closely in the seductive spread. The black-and-white images show them donning a striped and color-blocked wardrobe from Prada and Louis Vuitton. The lightweight pieces fall loosely against their silhouettes, giving them a smoldering look for spring.

The i-D Spring 2011 editorial featuring Jourdan Dunn and Karlie Kloss makes us want to see more of this dazzling duo; after all, two is always better than one.
